Operation principle of truck

The truck is composed of engine, chassis, body and electrical system. The truck is mainly operated by the engine and chassis. The chassis includes transmission system, driving system, steering system and braking system.

Truck operation principle: after we start the car, the engine will generate power and transmit the power to the gearbox. The power will be transformed from high-speed small torque power to low-speed large torque power through the gears in the gearbox, and then transmitted to the drive rear axle through the transmission shaft. The drive rear axle will drive the rear wheels to rotate, so a car will move.

Functions and main components of each part:

A. Engine: the power source of the automobile. Its function is to make the fuel burn to generate power, and then drive the vehicle through the transmission system to drive the wheels.

B. Chassis: it is divided into transmission system, driving system, steering system and braking system.

Transmission system: transmits the power of the engine to the driving wheels, mainly including clutch, gearbox, transmission shaft and drive axle.

Driving system: connect all assemblies and components of the vehicle as a whole and support the whole vehicle to ensure normal driving of the vehicle. It mainly includes frame, front axle, wheel and suspension.

Steering system: ensure that the vehicle can run in the direction selected by the driver during driving, mainly including steering control mechanism, steering gear and steering transmission device.

Braking system: decelerates and stops the vehicle and ensures reliable parking of the vehicle. It mainly includes brake control mechanism, brake and transmission device.

C. Body: the place where the driver works and loads goods. Including cab and carriage.

D. Electrical equipment: the electrical system that assists the driver in driving the vehicle, including battery, starting system, lighting equipment, instruments, etc.
