Product Description
Shacman Fence Tipper for Construction and Mining Cargo Transport Why a 7.2 m body sits on a 3175 + 1400 mm wheelbase, and what that does for the frame.

Body length and wheelbase are chosen together, not separately. A long body on a short wheelbase puts the rear overhang past the axle line and turns every bump into a bending moment in the frame. This truck pairs a 7200 mm body with a 3175 + 1400 mm wheelbase for exactly that reason.

01 Where the load sits

With the body supported close to the load centre, the subframe transfers weight down through the chassis rails instead of hanging it off the rear overhang. On a haul road that has never been graded, that is what keeps the frame straight and the body mounts from working loose.

02 The numbers
Body7200 × 2490 × 3668 mm, fence sides, front lifting
Wheelbase3175 + 1400 mm
Drive6x4, manual transmission
EngineWeichai 380HP, Euro 2
Rated load61-70 tonnes
03 Construction and mining, two different stresses
ConstructionFrequent short cycles, tight sites, lots of tailgate work and tipping on made-up ground
MiningLonger haul, shovel impact on the floor, constant vibration on unsealed road
Shared requirementA body that dumps cleanly and a frame that does not fatigue at the mounts

If the truck will spend most of its life on unsealed haul road, say so at order — the body mount bushes and floor plate are the two items worth upgrading before the first load rather than after the first crack.
