This X5000 6x4 tractor is the SX42584V324 platform, the same unit used across the X5000 heavy tractor range: Weichai WP13.550E501 at 550PS on Euro V with 12.54 litres of displacement, a FAST 12JSDX240TA-QH50 twelve speed gearbox and a HANDE 16 T MAN double reduction rear bogie on a 850 x 300 (8+5) mm frame.
For pit and quarry supply work the combination matters more than any single figure: 550PS keeps a loaded trailer moving out of a ramp, the 5.262 ratio option gives the crawl speed needed at a loading face, and the exhaust brake controls the descent back into the pit.
