Tip a full load on uneven ground and the load does not leave the body evenly — it slides, hangs on one side, and puts a twisting load into the frame that no specification sheet mentions. A tipper working construction and mining sites lives with that every day. What separates a body that lasts from one that cracks is the lifting geometry and how the frame carries the offset.
Front lifting, and why it matters hereWith a front-mounted ram the body pivots at the rear hinge and the load centre stays ahead of the rear axle line during the raise. The truck does not try to sit back on its tail, and the load releases forward instead of hanging over the side. On a site where the tip face is never level, that is the difference between a clean dump and a recovery call.

Rear hinge pins. Grease on every shift, not every week — a dry pin ovalises the bracket and then the frame cracks around it.
Ram seals. A slow weep becomes a slow raise, and a slow raise means the driver tips on a slope with the body only half up.
Body floor plate. Rock and slag impact at the shovel, not the load itself, is what thins the floor. A thicker plate at order is cheaper than a floor replacement in year three.
For quarry and slag work we will quote a heavier floor plate and reinforced side ribs against the same chassis, so the body is matched to the material rather than to the tonnage figure alone.
