This is the H3000 6x4 dump truck build where every number is fixed: Weichai 380 HP diesel on Euro 2, FAST manual gearbox with ten forward ratios and two reverse, 430 mm diaphragm clutch rated 1500-2000 Nm, HANDE axles front and rear, and a 5800 x 2300 x 1500 mm cargo box on a 3775 + 1400 mm wheelbase.
Ten forward gears with a 430 mm clutch is a working combination for a loaded tipper: the clutch has the surface area to slip without glazing when a truck starts on a grade, and the ratios keep the engine in its torque band between a face and a tip point. Left hand drive with ZF technology steering and cruise control makes the road legs between sites less tiring.

What the pre-delivery check coversBefore a unit leaves, the build sheet is checked against the vehicle: 380 HP Weihai plate, FAST gearbox with ten forward ratios, 430 mm clutch, HANDE axles, 5800 x 2300 x 1500 mm body, ten 12.00R20 tyres and the 3775 + 1400 mm wheelbase. Torque settings on the body mounts and the ram pins are checked, the hydraulic circuit is run through a full raise and lower, and the 300-400 L tank is pressure tested at the seams.
A copy of that check sheet travels with the truck. It is worth keeping: if a body mount works loose in the first months, the sheet tells your workshop what it was set to at handover, and that turns an argument into a measurement.
