This is the complete unit for SHACMAN and HOWO dump trucks — air dryer plus governor in one casting. No separate governor to mount, no extra air lines to run, no fiddling with cut-in cut-out adjustments on the frame rail. It comes pre-set from the factory.
On dump trucks the air dryer lives down near the frame behind the cab. It takes road spray, mud, and whatever the job site throws at it. This unit has a thicker housing wall than the standard version and the anti-corrosion coating holds up better in wet conditions. The integrated governor means one less component hanging off the chassis that could get knocked loose by debris.
Four mounting bolts to the frame bracket. Three air ports — inlet from compressor, outlet to air tanks, control line to the compressor unloader. Threads are metric M22, M16, M12. Comes with copper sealing washers. If your old unit had a separate governor, cap off the old governor port and use the control port on this unit instead.
