Lightweight aluminum construction — 25KL capacity, 4 compartments, optical overfill protection
Aluminum tank construction — 800kg lighter than steel equivalent
SHACMAN F3000 6x4 chassis — reliable regional fuel distribution
This 25-tonner uses an aluminum alloy tank (5083 grade) that saves about 800kg of tare weight compared to carbon steel. That extra payload goes straight to your bottom line on every trip. The trade-off is a higher upfront cost, but if you are running 200+ delivery days a year, the fuel savings and extra cargo pay it back within 18 months. Built on the SHACMAN F3000 6x4 with 340HP Weichai, it handles regional distribution runs comfortably.
Tank layout is four compartments with a total of 25,000 liters — typically configured as two large chambers for diesel and two smaller ones for kerosene or light fuel oil. Each compartment has its own bottom loading API adaptor (4-inch) with a check valve, so the depot operator connects and loads without climbing on top. Discharge side uses a gear pump running at 70 cubic meters per hour with a mechanical flow meter and totalizer — no electronics to fail in the field.

The aluminum construction also means zero rust issues — important if you are operating in coastal or high-humidity regions. Overfill protection uses optical probes in each compartment that trigger an audible alarm in the cab at 90% and auto-shutoff at 95%. Standard safety package includes two fire extinguishers, static reel, and emergency cut-off. We have delivered this exact spec to fuel distributors in Nigeria and Tanzania who needed the extra capacity without exceeding axle load limits.
