Industrial waste recovery specialist — 95 percent vacuum, 500 m3/h air displacement, chemical-resistant lining
Waste oil vacuum tanker — chemical-resistant lining for used oil and sludge
SHACMAN F3000 6x4 — industrial-grade chassis for daily collection duty
This is not a delivery tanker — it is a collection unit. Waste oil recovery from workshops, factories, mining equipment service bays, and ship bilges requires a completely different setup. The 10,000-liter tank is built to withstand the corrosive, often acidic nature of used lubricating oils mixed with water, metal particles, and solvent residue. Tank interior has a chemical-resistant epoxy liner that shrugs off pH levels from 3 to 11 — tested with real waste oil samples from heavy equipment maintenance shops.
The heart of the system is a rotary vane vacuum pump driven by the chassis PTO, pulling about 500 cubic meters of air per hour and capable of reaching 95 percent vacuum (-0.95 bar gauge). That is enough suction to lift waste oil from an underground collection pit 6 meters below the truck. The 4-inch suction hose is 15 meters long, oil-resistant reinforced rubber with a camlock quick-connect. A primary strainer catches bolts, rags, and debris before they reach the pump, and a secondary mesh filter at the tank inlet provides backup protection.

Vacuum pump assembly and filtration system with sight glass monitoring
Discharging is two-stage: gravity dump via the rear hatch for the bulk liquid (tank tilts 45 degrees), then a 0.5 bar pressure push through the same hose to clear any heavy sludge that settled during transport. A sight glass on the tank lets the operator see the fill level and whether foam is building up — an anti-foam sensor cuts the vacuum pump if the foam reaches the inlet port to prevent liquid carryover into the pump. We have sold these to industrial waste management companies in Indonesia and Kenya who collect used oil from hundreds of small garages and consolidate it for recycling or disposal.
