When the water table sits 400, 600, or 800 meters down, a small rig simply cannot get there. The JK850 is built for exactly those jobs. It is rated to 850 meters and is regularly used for community water supply projects where shallow wells have run dry or turned saline.
Depth capability is not just about the rotary table. It comes from the whole package working together: 34KN.m of torque to turn the bit in deep, compacted formations; an 850 L/min mud pump to lift cuttings over a long return path; an 80KN main hoist to pull long tool strings; and a 47m mast that handles 6-meter drill pipe so the crew spends less time making connections.
Penetration rate at depth depends on the formation, but the combination of high torque and full mud circulation is what keeps a deep hole moving. The 850mm through-hole rotary table also lets you run larger casing strings when the upper section of the hole needs support, which is common in unconsolidated ground.
All critical connections are bolted, and the rig assembles on site in three to five days with basic lifting equipment. We ship a starter spares kit with every machine, and the standard warranty covers the structure, power unit, and hydraulic system for 12 months.
If you are quoting a deep well project, send us the target depth, expected hole diameter, and the formation log if you have one. We will confirm the drill pipe and bit package you need and give you a complete quote, including freight to your port.
