The tank is divided by baffle plates to keep the load stable during cornering, and the inside is coated against rust so the water stays clean for foam making and for drinking-water grade use when specified. A level gauge on the panel and a rear fill indicator let the operator watch the tank from either position.
Power comes from the Weichai WP10 engine rated at 340 hp, matched with a Fast Gear 9-speed box and 16T MAN type rear axles. The suspension and brake system are set up for a fully loaded fire truck, and the F3000 cab keeps the crew comfortable on longer runs to remote sites.
