This 2863702X oil seal is the one we ship most often for SHACMAN F3000 and X3000 trucks. It sits on the wheel hub and keeps gear oil where it belongs, so you stop finding oil weeping around the rim and brake drum.
The lip is molded from NBR (nitrile) rubber. That is the sensible choice for gear oil, and it keeps working from -40 C to +120 C. The outer steel case is zinc coated, so it does not rust away after a winter of road salt.
