When a truck works hard all day, the crankshaft seal is the part that takes the heat. This 2863702X seal is made from FKM (Viton) instead of the usual nitrile, and that is the whole point: it keeps sealing when the front of the engine gets hot and ordinary rubber starts to harden and crack.
It is a drop-in fit for Weichai WP10 and WP12 engines, and it is the seal we recommend for long-haul and mining trucks that rarely see a cool day. The case is zinc plated so it comes back out clean when the engine is overhauled.
