JK930 Heavy-Duty Crawler DTH Drill Rig

If your benches run 15 to 20 metres and you need 138-210mm blast holes at a steady pace, the JK930 is the rig we put on that job. It is the largest machine in our range — 15 tonnes on a 3100mm track base — so it stays planted on broken rock instead of skating around once the hammer hits a fracture.

Built for the bench

A 194kW inline-six diesel drives two separate hydraulic circuits, one for the tracks and mast, one reserved for the rotation head. On a quarry floor that split matters: you keep full rotation torque while tramming up the haul ramp or adjusting mast angle mid-pattern. The 6-inch DTH hammer runs on 30 bar air from the onboard two-stage screw compressor, which in granite works out to roughly 25-35 cm per minute — about as quick as this class of crawler rig will move rock, and it holds that pace hole after hole.

Air, flush and dust

The compressor ceiling is 30 m3/min, and we keep the flushing bypass on its own line so you can lift the flush without dragging hammer performance down. For limestone and other low-silica benches you can run dry with the cyclone separator alone, which still drops about 85% of the coarse dust. Where silica is a problem, the onboard water injection pump feeds the air stream at the swivel.

Track and feed

Track frames are 3100mm with 500mm triple-grouser pads, each on its own hydraulic motor and planetary final drive. They are cross-plumbed so you can counter-rotate for a spot turn on a tight bench, and gradeability is 25 degrees loaded. Feed force is 40 kN down and 65 kN pullback, with rotation torque of 5500 Nm through a planetary head and internal spline drive.
