JK930 Crawler DTH Rock Drill with Dust Control

Quarries are being pushed hard on dust, and dry drilling is where most of the complaints come from. The JK930 handles it with a cyclone separator that pulls roughly 85% of the coarse dust out of the return air on its own, plus an onboard water injection pump at the swivel for benches where silica is the real issue. You can switch between dry and wet depending on the rock and the rules on site.

Runs all day on the bench

Under the body is a 194kW inline-six diesel feeding two separate hydraulic circuits — tracks and mast on one, rotation head on the other — so the head never starves when you tram or tilt the mast. The rotation head puts out 5500 Nm through a planetary gearbox, and the feed runs 40 kN down / 65 kN pullback. Air is a two-stage screw compressor, 21-30 m3/min at up to 30 bar, matched to a 6-inch DTH hammer for 138-210mm holes to about 40 metres.

Move it, park it, work it

3100mm track frames with 500mm triple-grouser pads, hydraulic tension, and cross-plumbed motors for counter-rotation on a tight bench. Gradeability is 25 degrees loaded, and the whole 15 tonnes sits low enough to tram between benches without a float. Controls are proportional joystick with an adjustable feed rate from zero to 1.2 m/s.
