Most of the rigs we ship to Africa and South Asia end up doing one job: getting water to a village. That is what this truck mounted JK1300 was put together for.

Why a truck mount for village work

• One driver moves the rig between sites. No lowboy, no crane, no reassembly at the next village
• HOWO 6x4 chassis, so parts are available in most countries where these trucks already run
• 11m mast folds down for travel and sets up in about half an hour on site

Drilling side

• 300m rated depth, 105mm to 350mm hole
• BW850 mud pump for the overburden, then air and DTH hammer once you reach rock
• 12KN.m rotary table, 13T lifting capacity, 89mm drill pipe

We normally send it with a 4 inch hammer and one set of button bits. Tell us the formation you expect and we adjust the bit package before the container is loaded.

One thing to plan for: at around 19t this truck needs a reasonable road to the site. If your villages sit at the end of a dirt track, take the skid version instead and mount it on your own carrier.
