Product Description

Quarry and mine customers do not ask about depth first, they ask how many meters per hour. This JK1300 in DTH configuration is built around that question.

The DTH setup

  • 25 bar high pressure compressor, sized so the hammer still hits hard at 250-300m
  • 4 inch hammer for 105-165mm blast holes, 6 inch hammer for 165-350mm dewatering holes
  • Button bits for granite, basalt and hard limestone
  • 89mm reinforced pipe, thicker wall, made for hammer shock rather than rotary only

In basalt we normally see 8 to 12m per hour with this configuration. In soft overburden the BW850 mud pump takes over and you switch to DTH at the rock head. Allow about an hour for the changeover, less if the crew has done it before.

What goes in the shipment

Compressor, hammer set, button bit set, BW850 pump, 89mm pipe, tool kit and a spare seal set. The rig comes on a HOWO 6x4 chassis unless you want the skid unit.

Give us the hole size and the rock type and we confirm hammer and bit selection before the order is placed. If the ground is mixed, say so, because that changes the compressor rating we recommend.
