Factories and industrial estates are not built for trucks. Trailer compatibility is not a detailA tractor that couples to your trailers without adjustment is a tractor that earns from the first day. Coupling height, air line positions, the electrical socket type and the position of the release handle all have to agree with the fleet you already run. On a short wheelbase unit the fifth wheel sits further forward, which changes the trailer's swing envelope and can put the landing legs closer to the drive tyres than the driver expects.
