Long distance chick transport is where most losses happen, so this X3000 4x2 version is set up for 8 to 12 hour runs in hot weather. The box is 10000 mm long with double layer ventilation: louvers on both sides plus roof vents, and a water spray system that mists the inside of the box on demand. The driver can switch it on from the cab without stopping.
Power comes from a Weichai WP10H375E50, 375 hp, with a Fast Gear 10JSD140T gearbox. The X3000 cab has air conditioning and a sleeper bunk, so two drivers can rotate on long routes. The fuel tank holds 400 L, which covers most regional runs without a stop.
The box floor is aluminum chequered plate with drainage holes at the rear corners, so washing takes minutes instead of hours. We also fit a rear camera as standard on this version because the long box blocks the rear view completely.
