When the buyer fits their own mixer drum, what they are ordering is a rolling chassis with the right wheelbase, the right frame length behind the cab and enough power take-off capability to drive a drum pump. This X3000 6X4 chassis supplies that base: Weichai diesel at 380HP, manual transmission, 3975 + 1400 mm wheelbase and a 21-30 t load rating, leaving the body installation to the buyer's own supplier.
The wheelbase is the number to check first. A drum sits between the steer axle and the rear bogie, and a chassis that is 100 mm out will either push the drum into the cab or hang it too far behind the rear axle, which changes the axle load distribution the mixer builder has to certify.

Send the drum supplier's mounting drawing and the PTO requirement and we will confirm the chassis length and frame drilling for it.
What ships with a chassisA chassis order leaves our works as a driveable vehicle without the mixer drum, water tank or chute. That means the buyer's body builder receives the frame, the axles, the cab and the electrical and pneumatic circuits, and takes on the installation, the axle load calculation and the final certification in their own market. We supply the frame and driveline drawings so that work starts from real dimensions rather than a tape measure.
Confirm before ordering whether the builder wants the frame drilled at their pattern or left undrilled. A chassis drilled to the wrong pattern costs less to fix than a chassis drilled twice, but both cost more than deciding first.
