The JK830RC is a crawler-mounted down-the-hole (DTH) drilling rig designed for medium to hard rock formations. It is used primarily on quarry benches, open-pit mine benches, and large construction sites where blast hole drilling at 105–165mm diameters is required.
This machine drills vertical and angled blast holes in rock ranging from f=6 (medium-hard limestone) to f=20 (dense granite and basalt). It runs a 4-inch or 5-inch DTH hammer powered by on-board air, making it suitable for production blasting in quarries, road cuts, foundation excavation, and trenching work.
Power comes from a YUCHAI YC4DK-125 four-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine rated at 92 kW (125 HP). This is a turbocharged industrial engine widely used across construction machinery in China and export markets. Parts availability is straightforward in most regions. Fuel consumption on site typically runs 8–10 liters per hour depending on drilling conditions.
The crawler undercarriage uses 350 mm steel tracks with 350 mm ground clearance. Travel speed is 0–2.5 km/h on site. Gradeability is rated at 30 degrees, which covers most bench access ramps without external assistance. Total machine weight is 7,500 kg. The compact footprint (6,200 * 2,350 mm) fits standard flat rack container transport — no oversize permits needed in most cases.
A dry dust collection system is standard on the JK830RC. It pulls cuttings from the hole collar through a cyclone separator and into a collection bag. This matters on quarry sites where airborne silica dust is a safety concern and regulatory compliance is enforced. The system requires no water, which is a practical advantage on remote sites where water supply is unreliable.
The control panel groups drilling functions (rotation, feed, hammer actuation, dust collector) on a single console at the operator station. Hydraulic system pressure runs at 16 MPa. Routine greasing points are accessible at ground level. The engine compartment opens from both sides for filter changes and belt inspection.
Standard warranty covers the main structure for 12 months or 2,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. Consumables — hammer, bits, drill rods, couplers, and track shoes — are excluded from warranty but are available as spare parts. We keep a rolling inventory of high-wear items and can air-freight emergency parts within 5 working days to most destinations.
