An engineering site tipper is judged on the road it leaves, not the road it drives in on. This H3000 6x4 ten wheeler carries an 850 x 300 (8+7) mm frame, front and rear multi leaf springs with four main plates and four U-bolt clamps per side, and HANDE axles front and rear, so the structure absorbs repeated loading on unsealed haul roads rather than passing it into the cab.
Power comes from a Weichai six cylinder diesel in the 340-450 HP band, built here at 380 HP, driving through a FAST manual gearbox with ten forward ratios and two reverse. Ten forward gears matter on a site: one ratio for the loaded climb out of the cut, one for the run, one for the tip apron.
