On 4 November 2026, a customer delegation from Guinea arrived at our heavy-duty truck yard and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) centre for a hands-on vehicle inspection ahead of shipment. The visit was arranged after several rounds of technical discussion on truck configuration for mining haulage and construction material transport in West Africa. Accompanied by our export sales manager and a service engineer, the customer spent the full day checking every unit ordered, from chassis numbers to road test performance.
For buyers shipping heavy equipment across continents, seeing the actual unit before it leaves the factory is the most reliable way to remove risk. That is exactly why our standard export process includes an open, invitation-based on-site inspection before container or RO-RO booking.
The inspection followed our 32-point pre-delivery checklist, which covers mechanical condition, safety systems and cosmetic quality. The customer personally verified each item together with our engineer and signed off the acceptance sheet unit by unit.
| Inspection Item | Standard Applied | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Engine cold start & idle | Single start, stable idle, no abnormal smoke | Passed |
| Road test (loaded simulation) | Min. 15 km, all gears engaged, no warning light | Passed |
| Hydraulic tipping cycle | Full lift < 45 s, no leak, controlled lowering | Passed |
| Chassis coating & welding | No crack, uniform anti-rust coating | Passed |
| Cab equipment & electrics | All functions operational | Passed |
| Documents & VIN | VIN, engine number, invoice consistent | Passed |
After the road test the customer commented: "We have bought trucks from other suppliers before, but this is the first time we were allowed to check everything ourselves, one unit after another. The condition matches the specification we agreed, and this gives us confidence to plan the next fleet order."
The delegation also discussed maintenance training for their local drivers and mechanics, and requested a consolidated spare parts package to be shipped together with the trucks so that routine service can be carried out locally without waiting for long lead-time imports.
All inspected units have now been moved to the packing area. Our logistics team is completing the following steps:
After arrival in Conakry, our after-sales team will follow up online for commissioning, first service and any technical questions from the customer's workshop.
West Africa is one of our fastest-growing markets for heavy-duty trucks used in mining, quarry and construction logistics. Because the working environment is tough – high dust, long distances and heavy loads – configuration and build quality must be verified in person rather than judged from photographs. An open inspection policy protects the buyer, and it also keeps our production and PDI teams accountable for every single unit that leaves the yard.
If you are planning a fleet purchase and would like to inspect the trucks yourself, or appoint a third-party inspection company on your behalf, our team can arrange the visit, provide the technical checklist and prepare the vehicles in advance. Send us your application details and target configuration, and we will propose a suitable model and inspection schedule.
