The FAST 10-speed manual gearbox is a widely used transmission in Chinese heavy trucks. Ten forward gears and two reverse gears. Gear shifts use a synchromesh system on all forward gears, reducing driver effort. The transmission is rated for the full torque output of the 430HP engine with a safety margin. Oil capacity is approximately 14 liters, with standard gear oil available globally.
Dual-circuit full air brakes with ABS on all wheels. The air compressor is engine-driven with a dryer unit to remove moisture from the brake air system.
