Some buyers know exactly which body they need. Others are buying for a market where the same chassis has to take a stake body this year and a tank or van body next year. This X3000 6X4 multi body tractor is aimed at the second group: the driveline and frame are fixed, the body interface is left open, and the unit can be ordered in left or right hand drive.
The fixed part is a Weichai diesel at 380HP, a manual gearbox, a 3975 + 1400 mm wheelbase and a 21-30 t load rating, with 12.00R20 bias tyres carrying ECE, GCC, ISO and DOT certification for export markets.

Tell us the drive side, the body type and the body supplier, and we will confirm the chassis configuration and the interface information they need.
The interface information your body builder needsFitting a body to a chassis goes wrong at the interface, not at the engine. Frame width, hole pattern, the position of the fuel tank and the battery box, the routing of the wiring loom and the take-off point for a hydraulic pump all have to be known before the body is built. We supply those dimensions with the chassis so the body builder can work from them directly.
On a right hand drive build the steering column, pedal box, dashboard and door aperture are handed, so cab parts are specific to that side while the driveline, axles and frame remain common. A fleet running both drive sides should stock cab parts per side and everything else as common stock.
